  The cabins were much nicer than expected. Very cozy and very clean. I would definitely stay there again. The showers were a little short for a tall guy but that's life. Would definitely recommend to others.

  I've been going to the Island View Lodge for fifteen years and have seen the many changes since Ron and Trella took over. They've made many upgrades to the cabins, the lodge and to the resort itself. Not only is the staff accommodating and the fishing good, but the awesome beauty of the lake and land are breathtaking. I was bothered by some of the negative reviews as I personally have only seen continued improvements over the years. Ron and Trella have worked hard on the resort to make it better for everyone to enjoy. If it were possible to give a six star review, I would. I look forward to vacation every year and plan to continue to spend it at Island View Lodge.

  Was prepared for the "rustic" cabin...but at $250 a night, ($1,000 week) did not expect to have MICE staying with us. This is a cabin located very close their restaurant too. Checked out 2 days early because of it. Management, Ron, never apologized, did not offer a day compensation and was extremely rude. Disgusted and disappointed. If I can rate this experience below 1 star, I would.

  Nice staff, clean place, fun atmosphere. Food was nothing special. I would still go back though.
